How to Make Special Chicken biryani!!!!
Chicken biriyani recipe. Easy homemade chicken biryani.
Lets prepare a Yummy Chicken Biryani with available ingredients at home!!!
So now lets have a look on what are all the ingredients used;
- 1 Kg chicken medium/big size.
- Biryani Rice(Bamathi Rice/Jeera Rice/Any other Biryani Rice)
- Turmeric powder
- Pepper powder
- Coriander powder
- Salt
- Lemon
- Chilli Powder
- Onion
- Tomato
- Ginger Garlic paste
- Coriander leaves
- Clove
- Cinnamon
- Bay Leaf (Tej Patta)
- Ghee
- Star anise
- Cashew nut
- Green chilli
Friends now all ingredients are ready with us, Lets start to cook!!!!
How to marinate chicken?
- Clean the chicken and add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder,4 tsp chilli powder, salt as per taste and 2 tsp Oil for a good mixture.
- Rest the mixture aside for 30 mins.
- Fry the marinated chicken and keep it aside to prepare the masala.
How to cook rice?
- Soak the rice for 30 mins after washing off for 3 times.
- After soaking, add 1½ glass of water for 1 cup of rice.
- Add 5 tsp ghee, 4 Cloves (Grambu), 2 Cinnamon sticks,2 star anise,4 Cardamom, 1 Bay leaf, 1 tsp Lemon juice.
- Add all the above mentioned ingredients in the cooker and keep it just for 1 whistle.
- Remove the rice into different vessel or else rice will get sticky
How to cook chicken masala?
- Take a pan add 5 tsp oil
- Add 2 pieces of cinnamon, 2 cloves, 3 big size chopped onion and 4 green chillies with little salt and ginger garlic paste, stir till the onion turns to golden brown.
- Add 1 sliced tomato and cook well.
- Add 2 tsp Chilli powder, 2 tsp Coriander powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp pepper powder.
- Cook well till the raw smell of masala disappears.
- Add the fried chicken with 1 cup of water and boil till the water evaporates.
- Add finely chopped coriander leaf and its done.
Final step to end the recipe?
- Take a cooker/vessel.
- Add ½chicken masala in the bottom, add ½ boiled rice in the second layer.
- Again follow the same step and close the lid tightly and heat just to steam for 2 mins.
- Please note don't give a whistle again if you are using cooker.
