How to Make Rava Idli.Rava Idli Recipe.Easy
Homemade Rava Idli.
Hi All,
Here are the simple tips for make a delicious and smooth idli in 30 minutes.
Ingredients for the Rava Idli batter.
- Jeera / Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Mustard ½ tsp
- Bengal gram split(Channa dal) 2 tsp
- Split Black gram 2 tsp
- Cashew pieces of 10-15
- Chopped coriander leaf
- Green chilli
- ½ tsp termeric powder
- Carrot Crushed 2
- Bombay rava / Chiroti rava (small type rava/sooji)
- Water
- Curd
- Oil/Ghee
- Curry leaf finely chopped.
Lets Start...................
- Take a Pan/Kadai
- Add ½ tsp Mustard, ½ tsp Jeera, 2 tsp Channa dal, 2 tsp split black gram, 10-15 Cashew pieces, chopped green chilli, ½ tsp termeric powder and fry till it gets golden brown color.
- Add chopped coriander leaf and Curry leaf.
- Add 1 big crushed carrot or 2 medium sized and fry well.
- In this mixture add 1 cup of Rava and fry till it gets separated from oil.It should not be sticky.
- Off the stove.Let the mixture cool down.
- Take ¾ cup of curd in the same cup in which you take Rava.
- Add the curd in the mixture using spoon and water as required to get a Idli batter consistency.
- Rest it down for 10 Minutes.
- Check the batter, If required add little water and mix well.
- Steam the Idli vessel.
- Grease the idli plates with Oil.
- Before pouring the Idli batter into the mold just garnish the plates with piece of cashew,Crushed carrot and Coriander leaf.
- Pour the batter into the mold.
- Steam for 20 minutes.
Finally the Rava Idli is done guys..😋😋😋😋
